What are Essential Oils? Essential oils literally the blood of the plant. They are the immune system of the plant, the
lifeblood of the plant. Essential Oils are multi dimensional; they affect the whole not just a part. Essential Oils are
the "Tools" to support your body in repairing.
Essential Oil expert Dr. Jean Valnet states, "In recent years both doctors and the public have rediscovered the
medical value of essential plant oils, but the idea of using their properties to maintain or regain health goes back to antiquity...The
Romans had their knowledge of essential oils from the Greeks, who in turn had received it from the Egyptians. . .Hippocrates,
for example, tackled the plague epidemic in Athens by fumigating the whole city with aromatic essences of plant oils. Later,
in the 19th century, it is known that perfumery workers always showed an almost complete immunity during cholera outbreaks."
What sets ForeverYoung Essential Oils apart from other companies?
To meet government regulations essential oils only need to be 52% pure oil. ForeverYoungEO essential oils are 100% pure
from the first drop to the last! Many competitors utilize extenders such as almond oil, and safflower oil in the remaining
48% of the product to dilute it. This causes them to be slower acting and much less effective. There is no residual build
up with pure oils, but there can be when using impure oils.
E.O.B.B.D.
ForeverYoung Essential Oils are guaranteed to be 100% pure, premium-grade essential oils. To know whether the oil you
are using is premium-grade it is important to look for certification of purity on the label. Absence of certification may
mean adulteration of an authentic essential oil. ForeverYoungEO uses an exacting standard for purity known as Essential Oils
Botanically
(plant origin & growing practices) and Biochemically (molecular fingerprint) Defined (E.O.B.B.D.)
In this process, oils are tested by third-party professionals using gas chromatographs and mass spectrometer analysis
which determine exactly what components are in the oils as well as in what percentages. ForeverYoungEO Essential Oils are
E.O.B.B.D. tested and certified for purity.

The Premium Oil Story
ForeverYoung Essential Oils
nothing added, nothing taken away!
The Best Nature can give!
Why you must only choose the highest quality essential oil?
It is interesting to see highly adulterated essential oils, replete with "100% pure" written on the labels,
competing with each other on the health store shelves, all at a low, low prices.
Essential oils generally used in aromatherapy in North America (i.e., "commercial fragrancing" found in health
food stores, bath, culinary, and beauty shops) are not suitable for therapeutic use.
The oils I use for ForeverYoungEO singles and blends are safe for topical and olfactory use, and will perform a deep action
on the body and the mind. They are specially grown and specially distilled, and 100% pure organic or wildcrafted. Oils
that are extracted using harsh or chemical-based distillation methods are very common throughout the world.
They are dangerous and ineffective. Our distillation process involves no pressure, just steam.
While there is a rating system for assuring quality, they are far below our standards. The standard on which we rely
for certification of quality is E.O.B.D.D.
(Essential Oil Botanically and Biochemically Defined). You can recognize genuine therapeutic grade oil by its aromatic
body, price, who endorses it (a doctor or pharmacist or research facility trained in reading gas chromatographs of essential
oil), and its organic certification (only available for some oils). I have managed the largest essential oil farm in Utah,
built the green houses and a distillation plant, raised the plants to maturity and harvested them at their peak. I've done
all of this, along with traveling widely and inspecting numerous farms and distillation facilities all over the world. I
have developed exacting standards that insure that the quality of the oils I recommend. Here are some of the standards that
must comply to my standards:
1. Location and cultivation methods affect oil quality - The type of soil, amount of rainfall, sunlight, humidity,
and the whole environment play a role in the growth of the aromatic plant, which will affect the quality of essential oil
produced. These environmental variables affect the quality more than other practices combines. It has been shown that essential
oil yields of mint to be influenced by a multitude of environmental factors in addition to plant age.
Some of these factors include water stress, fertility, the individual season, the geographical area in which it is grown
and the management/cultural practices. Since these differences can be quite noticeable to the trained grower, it is next
to impossible for the layperson to jump on the Internet or go to the store and find a high quality essential oil for aromatherapy
purposes.
2. Species Selection - I select only the species of plant that will produce the most active and complete array of constituents.
We select oils that have been grown by one of the following methods:
a) Certified Organic Farming: Certified by independent monitoring agencies to be grown without the use of an artificial
fertilizer, herbicide and pesticide. They are distilled in organic facilities according to the highest therapeutic standards.
b) Organic Farms: Farms which practice organic cultivation, yet are not independently monitored.
This is usually due to the lack of an agency in the area. Farms in these more remote areas are usually unable to purchase
the herbicides and fertilizers due to their cost. Personal contact confirms that their cultivation is organic.
c) Wild Crafted Selected Farming: These plants, gathered in their natural environment, are free of any artificial intervention.
They're truly organic . . . touched only by the hand of nature.
3. Harvesting - They are distilled fresh. We monitor the percentage of the plant in bloom, the time of day for cutting,
and many other factors critical in top-grade, therapeutic oil production. German chamomile, for example, must be harvested
in the late afternoon to maximize levels of azulene and bisobolol in the oil.
